ok scroggen-dickys sells the motor i wasnt for 2200...thats including the rotating assembly, heads, no intake, distributer, carb or anything like that but pretty complete...my question is would the water pump i just replaced on my car work with a 350? or do i need more flow? how about the new radiator? im considering buying the motor like that and possibly setting it up for TBI instead of carb...what do you all think? should i take a shot at partially building my own motor??

 

I think you prob. should get a more flow water pump and radiator! I have a brand new radiator i just bought for my 86 iroc-z 305 TPI and i decided i want to use an aluminum one, if your intrested in it i will sell it to you! but you should try going to a TPI system but if not built up the motor so it takes those S__t! stangs, try to carb. it that's what i would do! (Also my friend has a TPI system out of an 86 Trans am 305, if your intrested let me know

 

im not shelling out the bills for a TPI system yet TBI is very simple and pretty effective...definetly dont wanna go carb...i like being able to start my car when its cold out and not have to worry about tuning it...with the TBI i would just need the manifold, holley TBI, and i already have a distributer, new coil, cap, rotor and all that good stuff...i should need to much more than that with that motor i hope.
