where to put jack stands on front?? Taking off front control arm and strut???????????

Car: An '87 Italian Retard Out Cruisin'
Engine: LS1 install in progress
Transmission: 4L60e
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt
where to put jack stands on front?? Taking off front control arm and strut???????????

Where do I put the jack stands on the front of the car if Im taking off the front control arm and struts??? I looked in the archives but wasnt clear to me.

You should put them under the back of the front subframes. The 2x2 (approx) boxes that the a-arms,k-member and verturally everything else that goes on the front of the car bolts to.

Transmission: Pro-Built Automatic/Vigilante 2800
Support the car where he specified and just use the jack to support one A-arm at a time, until you remove the strut and spring.
