... And being that it's friday, and i had the day off - i thought maybe i'd FINALLY get a start on my tpi to carb conversion project.
But it rained here all day today, and i must work out of a parking lot. =(

The fuel injectors on my 175k mile firebird finally gave up, and the valve guides need to be done. So rather than simply R&R the old rustbucket I've decided to have the heads freshened up, then add a carburated performer intake i scored( 50 bucks on ebay! ), toss in a new roller cam (factory roller block), a qjet and have some fun. Tuned port injection is nice and all, but it does leave alot to be desired when you want to tune for performance... I don't care for burning proms over and over and over. =)

And when you're dealing with a 175k mile short block, why the hell would you want to spent 300 + dollars on injectors, right?

sorry to add to the clutter, BUT

a73camaro? Are you going through a crisis? Do you need help? Have you not been taking/or have been taking too much of your prozac lately? :lala:
