Radiator has spot to plug something in

I took my radiator out to pull the engine and noticed a plug in on the side tank down near the bottom on the passengers side. Nothing is plugged in it. The radiator has been changed. Is there anything suposed to be plugged in there?

Sounds like the line from the tranny where it should screw into.

I would guess that's the fan temp. switch, I don't have one so I could be wrong. Do you have a belt driven fan on there now?

hehe, all the F-bodies have those and do not use them. I think they are a low coolant sensor that was never utilized or was maybe a potential option.

Nothings plugs into that.

Not all F-bodies have them. I'm not even sure any of them have them. The replacement radiators I have seen lately do have the sensor though, it might have been something that was only on a select few applications and they just put it in all of them.
I have the original radiator from my 86TA, theres no sensor or location to put one.
