fuel lines

ive got a 88 maro tbi

ok so ive swapped my engines and im running lean. so im gonna ditch the in-tank pump and put on a mechanical one. but i was also wondering if i should upgrade my fuel lines to 3/8". or heck maybe they already are 3/8"? i dont know.

engine is putting out about 365 hp.

help me out fellas

i doubt if the fuel line size is your problem.

If you already have 3/8(#6), then your fine. If you plan on some mods that bring in close to 600HP, then you might consider #8(1/2).
If you have 5/16 I would upgrade to 3/8 with that kind of HP.

Also most good street mech pumps have 3/8NPT or a 3/8 male nipple plumming.

I think some of the big HP 2000+ use like #12 or #16 - which is insane !!!
I have some #12, I was going to use on a heater core, if that gives you an idea of how big - big is
