CCC Qjet idle air adjustment
I just rebuilt My CCC Qjet on the 83 TA.
I'm having trouble getting the dwell to anywhere but full rich it idle.
I don't have the proper measuring tool, so i can't use that..
anyone every checked it with like a carb float gauge.. if so about what depth should it be.
Right now i have it about 12-12.5 turns in.
and it's getting to much air at idle, to the point where it runs on.
the blades are shut.. i've got the idle screws out about 3.5 turns. and it's a stock motor.. and the dwell meter's still pegged on 20.
off idle, it acts normally.
to compound the thing, i can't remember which way you turn the air bleed to make itrich and which way is lean.. my sunday brain cramp.
thanks
