255's
Mufflex Exhaust

My sixty foots are horrible, due to a WORN out suspension
I just want to slice some time off of my quarter mile.
I've got 1500 dollars BUT i dont want to buy an juice right now.

I havent done a complete tune up in a while so
Spark Plugs, Ignition Wires, Distributor Cap, Rotor, FuelFilter, TPSVoltage, IAC Valve ,Engine Oil ,Oil Filter

Build a Cold air, running through a fog light.
What other Free mods am i forgetting?

Get my Headers installed ( i cant do them by myself , i just dont have the know how )

Buy a haynes so i can start learning and try to do tuneups etc... on my own.

Subframes.

I would focus on some rear suspension mods (LCAs and brackets, shocks, and SFCs) as well as those tune-up items you mentioned. Then stop there and take another look at the car to decide where to go with what's leftover. I would skip the Haynes and go straight for the Helms manual (the Haynes and Chiltons manuals take a lot from the Helms).

I would go with a cat-back, cam and suspension mods. And I would recommend the Hooker cat-back.

well if your 60 fts are that bad i would invest in some DRAG
RADIALS not only to go faster but toget consistant times to monitor your gains for the rest of the mods you do.
maybe get an MSD 6A or compatible ignitinion booster to give you
a solid ignition to build on, and a little HP and response gain.

For the drag radials.. I'm going to wait till i can afford 2 rims to put some slicks on for the back.

I dont really understand the whole "concept" of ignition, there's like fivehundred different types in my summit mag rev limiters, coils and all the other Jazz.. I was looking at the annihilator, but Iwas wonderifng if ignitions have adverse effects on my auto x times???~!? Really guys i dont even know what it is.

Anyone esle who can help me out, what is a delay box?

a delay box is something you will not be needing for a long time,
its does exactly what is says - in racing classes that allow the use of electronics ie.selonoid shifters, trans brakes, delay boxes, ect.
alot of the time you have your trans brake,2 stage rev limiter
and delay box hooked to a button so while at the line you can hold the car at full throttle and when the button is released
its time for "take off" thats where a delay box comes into play
you can release the button on the first yellow light you see (not your stage and pre stage lights) - this way you are not anticipating the green light and jumping the gun so you set your box up to delay until the last yellow and you can adjust the delay more or less to better your reaction time.

Pretty much sounds like you know what to do! Getting your headers installed and suspension into shape will eat up most of your budget, the tune up will take the rest...

Ummm... 15 dollars U.S.? I'm not quite sure since mine was found in the back seat of a Z28 I had a couple years ago.
