If you read the rules of the site when you agreed to become a member, you should remember that this is a technical site.
THAT is why it would get locked or deleted. There is no extra room/bandwidth to host threads that do not meet this criterium.
If I were you, I'd go back to the original post and add something to give it a technical spin, like "Which one would you choose, and why?" That opens the door for more than just specualtion and personal opinion.
But that's just what I would do...

depends on the years
I dont care much for the second gen camaros(xcept up till 73) but thevettes from the same time I like a lot
then for the thirdgen camaro I like them a lot (DUH!!!) and would prolly take one over a vetter
but when you start getting into the newer onces
well vette again it is IF I had the money
so I would pick a camaro
but if I had 12k here is what I would pick
0-60 4.7-5.3 driver makes big diff.
.99g on skidpad 13.7 in the 1/4
and easy as hell to modify
also love the color on this one

But that's just what I would do...
1. poll for which color i should paint my 92' camaro
2. Best Looking Black Camaro
3. How Old Are You?
4. Ornage color scheme
5. Car Color Poll
6. Let's try a different poll with more options...White, Black, Red, Blue, or Yellow
THAT is why I put this one on here. If I were a moderator and chose to lock or delete this one, I would do the same for the other 6 above as well... for purposes of consistent and objective enforcement of the site rules.
But that's just what I would do...

Yeah, I love the 1st gen Z's and the later 60's Vettes, especially Stingrays. I would just have to toss a coin myself if I had to choose.
I apologize for leaving the Firebird and T/A out. Slipped my mind totally.

Well, I guess since firebirds are excluded from the poll for some reason I'll have to go vette. 76 Stingray, bright yellow, tan leather interior, L82

of any car made i'd love to have a 1969 corvette ZL1 packaged car. not sure how many know about the car, but it's considered gm's most powerfull car ever sold to the public (all 2 of them).i'd have to look up the numbers to be positive, but as i recall motor trend tested one and it ran 10.4's stock except m and h racemaster's. that was the only automatic version of it and it was ran in drive (although it shifted itself at 7k).

I love my Firebird, but I'd send it to the scrap yard if I could own a metallic blue Z-06 C5. Then I'd send it to Lingenfelter bolt on a set of twin turbos...scary.
