Will this work????
I am STILL in progress of removing my LG4 (working on it about every other day after school).
Anyways, I am installing a 350 (hopefully non comp). To do this I have learned that I need a manual TC switch, non-cc carb, non-cc HEI, and other than that just to remove all the wires running to the ECM. Is this it?
I have heard that the AC and Heat will not be afected by removing the comp. Is that true?
ANY help will be appreciated!!!!
Thanks in advance

True.
Hope you don't have to go through emissions. Non-CC isn't likely to cut it.
CC isn't that bad, if you understand the basics of what it needs to work. Economy and driveability will certainly be better with it, and converting will always cost more money than staying with it (unless you already have all the non-CC parts). Mine sure runs great, starts right up even when cold, has yet to set a trouble code.

I'm in agreement with five7. I had all smog off and ran an edelbrock carb and never liked it. Hard to start when cold, and all around cold hearted. I'm back on the CC carb 'cus of moving to California and she runs great. My mileage is sucking (about 16 combined ciyt/highway) right now but I'm happy with it overall. Don't expect better performance by just changing to a manual carb either.
