ok so I have edelbrock elite valve covers.. I ordered the edelbrock elite breather.. the gromet that comes with it has no hole in the bottom.. it's solid.. what's up with that?

Take the grommet out of the valve cover and pop in the new breather.

nono.. the valve covers didn't have gromets with them.. the valve cover breather that I bought from edelbrock came with the gromet .. but the gromet has the hole in it for the breather but the end that should be open is all rubber... I just cut the end so that it looks like a gromet.. I'm just wondering why it was like that.. I was at Canadian Tire today and noticed they had packages of gromets one pcv & one breather gromet and it was the same.. the breather one didn't have a hole right through..

I seen those also Jeff. I did the same thing, just cut it to work.

I alway's thought they where plugs, but kinda funny that it came with your breather.
