Engine: tbi 305
Transmission: 700r4
what motor is this?

does anyone recognize this engine? its supposed to be from a thirdgen but I don't know what it is.

that's what I thought but the guy said it was from a thirdgen. I didn't want to seem like a jerk before I was sure.

Looks like an iron head engine to me. Either a L99 265 or LT1 350 out of a Caprice or Impala.

It was possibly removed from a 3rd gen but it did not come from GM with it.
