305 and T-5 build

Greetings,
Since my car has a T-5 I am limited to about 300hp and 300lb-ft. I'm fine with that.
Will roller rockers, roller lifters, and a cam on the stock heads help me get there?
Is that enough, with headers and an intake manifold, to spin to 7000 rpm?

Those are my goals... 300hp, 300 lb-ft, and 7000rpm red line.

Thanks

And that hits all the goals?
Keep in mind 300hp is easy for most 350s . The hitch is they normally get there by 5500 rpm. I'd be bumping off the rev limiter, or breaking something, with how I intend to use the car.
And more power does not work because it will break the transmission.

Baby LT1 aka L99 used a 3" stroke large journal 1 piece rear seal crank and 5.94" rods. It would destroke the 350 to a 302 at stock bore or 306 at .030 over. The Hotcam peaks around 5,800 rpm in a 350. With the shorter stroke and less cubes it would peak 400-600 rpm later. It would not mind blasts to 6,500 rpm and beyond. It would cut the torque down and still have good power. Its not the HP that kills the trans afterall it is the torque.

It is not power that kills the t5 transmission it's shock. Long ago when I had a mostly stock 305 TBI engine I broke the t5. Iirc the 305 TBI was only rated at 170 HP and the "world class" t5 transmission was rated much higher yet it still broke... The T5 transmission should have only been put in the V6 cars. Shortly after breaking my first t5 I met an f body circle track guy who used the t5. He told me to never shock a t5 with clutch dumps, power shifts etc., and they can live. I followed that mantra religiously for the next decade and didn't break another t5 even behind 300-400 whp engines.

Point of the story is to not kid yourself that just because you're under whatever power rating Borg Warner assigned means you are safe.

Save you're money to do a gear swap and 6 speed swap. That's money that will make a real felt difference
