Lower Assembly Build sheet
I was hoping some of you guys could give some input on the cam selection on my lower assembly for a 383 stroker build I'm doing for my 92 Camaro. My Camaro has the stock 700R4 and the stock 2.73 gearing. With this cam I know the stall on the stock converter is probably not acceptable nor the rear end gearing, but I would like to know how it would behave and what some options are for the torque converter and the rear end gears. Also, if you have a suggestion for a cam that would better fit this build, feel free to throw it out there. Has to be a hydraulic roller, and I prefer Comp. Also feel free to criticize the rest of the build I have planned so far.
Compression is sitting at about 10.25:1 according to my calculations. I just couldn't get the excel formula to work, lol.
Thanks guys!
