High pitched whine coming from the back end
Im getting a high pitched whine coming from the back end every time I turn a corner.

This is my 94 Trans Am GT, not my 88 GTA. I know it's not a 3rd Gen, but Im hoping you can give me a hand.

possibly rear-end? if it's only when turning corners you may have a rear-end problem.. i dunno, i'm not a huge rear-end guy.. no jokes, please

that would be the place i'd start, by pulling off the cover and changing the oil.. give it a good inspection and look for signs of gauling or metal shavings..

Something worn in the rear end or tires rubbing would be my guess.

Now im not sure. The rear end RPO code is GU5. f-body.org FAQ lists this as " Axle, Rear 3.23 Ratio".

Whining in Rear End
Jacob check with MRR23 on my site in the signature below were in Florida and he's good with Rear End and Suspension stuff.

my cousin (former owner of my car) has a 93 Z28 and his rear end bearing went out, he said its pretty common for the 4th gens.
