Starter Location HELP ASAP
I am aware of how basic this question is, but it is currently raining and I don't have my jack with me, and I believe that if I just hit the starter it might finally crank over. So where is the starter located on a 305? I'm currently stranded in a parking lot because it decided to quit on me.

Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: Starter Location HELP ASAP
Bottom of engine block, passenger side, just about next to the rear of the tire. You can look in behind the tire and probably see it.

Re: Starter Location HELP ASAP
Yep if manual trans push start in second or third gear...
Get the car rolling with trans out of gear, or in gear with clutch pushed in. This can be done in many ways... Rolling down a hill, having people push you, having a car push you, or even opening the driver's door, pushing the car yourself, jump in when car is rolling fast enough..
Once rolling fast enough, with clutch pushed in put trans in 2 or 3, and pop the clutch out (left clutch pedal out fast)... Engine will crank and run, give it some throttle and drive away
