Alt + PS brackets driver side
I'm looking for an application/brackets that mount the alternator and power steering pump on the driver side, but mount NOTHING on the passenger side. (my turbo is sitting there). Perhaps something from the 80's ??
Any help would be appreciated. I vaguely remember something like this.

Re: Alt + PS brackets driver side
I'm running the serpentine setup from a late 80's - early 90's G-series van or C/K truck. I'm not sure exactly as it was on a engine I purchased after it had been pulled and the donor vehicle scrapped. The only thing on the passenger side of the engine is the tensioner and it's at the top right in front of the valve cover. I don't think it would interfere with your turbo as I've got tons of room on that side, but it depends on where exactly you have it mounted. PS pump is in the same location as stock, with the alternator on top of it. The belt may interfere with or at least will be close to the bottom of the intake on a TPI setup, but I'm not sure as I'm running a carb. I can post up a pic if you want.

Here are the 2 best shots I have on my phone(I'm at work right now). I can get some better shots tonight if you need. In the pics, it looks like the belt will rub the top of the tensioner housing, but there is really about 1-1.5" clearance. It's close, but I've never had a problem with it.

I've seen a few guys around town here that cut the passenger side bracket only leaving the tensioner but replacing the pulley with a 6 rib pulley and using an 82 inch belt. It was a Dayco 89009 6 rib pulley. It's kind of like the pictures above but the brackets weren't from a truck he just cut the stock serpentine brackets

Re: Alt + PS brackets driver side
Somebody(March, I think) makes a low-mount bracket for the alternator. It moves the alt to the passenger side down about where the smog pump was mounted originally. Something like that might work for you. Might only be for a V-belt setup though, so it wouldn't work if you want to keep the serp belt. I can't remember for sure though.

When you a turbo a car, you lose a lot of real estate

Re: Alt + PS brackets driver side
How about an S10 manual steering gear and fabbing a mount to move the alternator where the power steering pump is? Might be a real tight fit though.

That's the problem with hot rods. You modify one thing, and it's a domino effect.

Re: Alt + PS brackets driver side
Now you're just being difficult
What about adding a horizontal 45* elbow and a short section of straight piping to the end of the pipe in your second pic? This should move the pipe routing in front of the alt and PS pump and place your 90* turndown to the IC in front of the alt?

I'm not running an IC anymore. I may go back to one, but I wanted to reduce the number of bends. Was gonna spray water/meth.
Over the winter I'm going to try turning a HSR plenum into a a/w intercooler. There should be enough room inside one to fit a small a/w core behind the throttle body.

Re: Alt + PS brackets driver side
So I took some 3/8" steel flat stock and made an adapter to mount the tensioner bracket lower and to the left. Took about an hour, and seems to work well.
I had to reduce the rear of the tensioner bracket by 3/8" obviously.

Re: Alt + PS brackets driver side
I've been wanting totally remove the pass. side accessory but be able to keep the serp. belt and tensioner. I like your idea of making a bracket to mount the tensioner. Any chance of some more detailed pictures and or some dimensions?

Re: Alt + PS brackets driver side
Here is the modified serp bracket, with the different pulley (grooved).
I can't find the spacer I made to LOWER the bracket, but that's not really needed. I simply wanted to lower it in my application so I took some 3/8" stock and bolted it to the head, then just welded some studs to it so the bracket sat an inch lower.
