tpi intake probs
So, I am building a 350 for my 86 using some procomp? 190cc aluminum heads, I finally got to installing the intake using fel-pro gaskets and the intake doesn't even cover the intake runners in the head! I only have a phone so hard to get pics on a forum, would an aftermarket intake work or am I SOL?

Re: tpi intake probs
Here's a thread on gasket/port sizes.
Use the details from the #5 money post by jbc999 to determine how big your head ports are, and what your options become. An aftermarket/SuperRam/BigMouth base might be required. But then, I think you've already figured that out with the "intake doesn't cover the head ports".

375-1256 Port Size: 1.23 x 1.99'' Stock with open exhaust crossover
375-1204 Port Size: 1.23 x 1.99'' Stock with blocked exhaust crossover
375-1205 Port Size: 1.28 x 2.09'' Stock or small race port
375-1206 Port Size: 1.34 x 2.21'' Medium race port
375-1207 Port Size: 1.38 x 2.28'' Large race port
PS. You should not try to port a tpi base to anything larger than a 1204. You should consider a superram base if you want to go to a 1205.
