That crusty guy in the picture is it supposed to have a hose on it and routed to where?

I'm trying to find why it runs lean sometimes

it looks like where the coolant hose connects to the throttle body. a lot of people bypass the throttle body since it doesn't really do anything unless you live in the northern states. It keeps the throttle body from freezing. I did this and just put a rubber grommet over the fitting to cover it up. Looks like that's what has been done to yours.

Okay good. It had a vacuum leak but that port didn't suck or make it stall. And no real pictures online lol. Thank you!
