Why does my car smell bad??
Every time I start my car, I see white smoke come out of my tailpipes and i mean a lot of smoke but it's only when i start it. While I'm driving it, i smell carbon monoxide the whole time. What could be the problem?

Carbon monoxide doesnt have a smell. The smoke sounds like valve seals which is mostly an inconvenience and shouldnt hurt the engine unless it's extremely bad and you manage to hydrolock it or something.

It's not coolant.
It's oil.
It needs valve guide seals, like every other old SBC. Piece o cake. take an afternoon and knock it out.

Well it is oil burning. Then what is the gas smelling from the exhaust coming from. I do have two little leak holes in the pipe going in the exhaust but that shouldnt why its smells right or do i have a blown head gasket??

Hey Colton, Don't over think the obvious. An exhaust leak and a little rich running engine will give you a nasty headache. Sounds like some needed maintenance is in order. Giver a good tune up, fix the exhaust leak, and live with the leaky valve seals till you can fix them.
