Catalytic converter

I finally had my car running great the other night when I suddenly heard a "pop" sound and lost all power above 2000 rpms. Tonight, I pulled my converter only to find the guts blew out and is now trapped in my exhaust! Anybody ever had this problem?

Re: Catalytic converter

All the time.

Repeatedly over the life of the car.

Clean the debris out of the exhaust, replace the converter, move on. NBD. Routine. Not sure what's to get all excited about?
