Common problems!!
Hey guys, I own a 1983 z28 and am just wandering what are some common problems that are small and big in most 82-92 camaros? Minus the rattles and stuff like that.

Re: Common problems!!
However, other than normal wear and tear, for stuff like brakes, tires, shocks and the like, some things that you could see are choke issues, carb out of tune/needs rebuild, ignition faults, wiring issues, speficially inline fuses fromt he starter where they are heat soaked. Key cylinder worn out, tilt mechanism loose, power windows don't work.
The list is extensive, but every car is a little different.

leaky t tops, sagging doors, wind noise from the rear hatch area. those are 3 things ive noticed on mine and all my friends fbodys. (84 z28, 86t/a ,88formula, 88 iroc, 92 rs). so i guess those are common issues

i agree with ozz1967. these arent 5 year old cars. and ownership plays a huge roll in how these cars conditions are. but as far as "more" common issues would be cracked dash pads, sagging headliner, rusty floors and rear wheel wells, sagging driver door, bald rear tires from everyone beating on them lol. honestly those problems can happen to ANY car.

I rebuilt my steering box, installed ball joints, sagging front springs replaced, all front suspension and steering parts are new and up to date.
