Which heads have a lower cc?
I have a 69 327 that is all stock. Are there any heads I can put on that have a lower cc (lower than 76cc) that came on any 3rd gens? Which casting numbers or year/CID combos should I look for? I'm looking to increase the compression ratio w/o getting into the short block.

I believe most vortecs come with 64cc, for stock heads they're a nice upgrade to the stockers or any other smogger head.

Yeah special "vortec" intake. Lots of information on these threads on TGO/google. Carbed is fine. The vortec heads came out of '96-'00 I think trucks, tahoe, and similar GM vehicles.
