FPR fittings

OK!!!!!!!!!!! i'm a reasonable that believes in giving a true effort but I must admit when I'm whipped. I have a 89rs that has the factory fuel injection lines. I have poured over all kinds of threads the best one so far is Pics on Mallory #4309 installed that and the website http://z28boy.cz28.com/ but when I go to summitracing.com I can't seem to make heads or tails out of all these fittings. The FPR that I have is a mallory 4309 and all these dang fittings look the same to me HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know this is an elelmentary skool quest. but I have been searching for a week and have yet to find all the part numbers that I need to connect my FPR like the one shadow315 has in the thread. please help someone I just got my 355 running and this is holding me up from completion.

i have the mallory fpr in my 89 i went down to napa and got the thred in fittings ro connect the rubber hose up to.i am running a carb so i have the rubber line going to it and i had cut the factory end off from the supply side and used a clamp to attach it. so this way you still connect the flexable hose to the hard line

Re: FPR fittings

eed hard line:

attach to the hard line a Earl's Performance 9894DBHERL then a
Summit Racing SUM-220687 then attach about a foot of
Summit Racing SUM-220984 that will go to the mallory 4309 and have at the end of it a
Summit Racing SUM-220690 which goes to
Summit Racing SUM-220648 that screws directly into the side holes in the regulator
out of the other side hole you attach another Summit Racing SUM-220648
to a Summit Racing SUM-220690 then a piece of Summit Racing SUM-220984
just enuff to get you close to the carb then you need Summit Racing SUM-220690
and attached to it a Aeroquip FBM2183 for your pressure gauge after that you need a
Fragola Performance Systems 960001 then a Fragola Performance Systems 180106
then the final pc of hose Summit Racing SUM-220984 this should put you right at the carb then you need a Summit Racing SUM-220690 screwing onto a Earl's Performance 991941ERL

return hard line:

attach to t he hard line a Earl's Performance 9894DBHERL then a Fragola Performance Systems 496206 which is going to attach directly to the regulator with the last Summit Racing SUM-220648 total for everything $182 shipped to door

I hate to revive old threads but this post has saved me a tremendous amount of time while running AN fittings and braided line to my Mallory AFPR and I would like to give it updated information so others can benefit from it as well.

The only thing wrong with this great description is that the send line needs a earls 9894DBJERL instead of a 9894DBHERL. The 9894DBHERL goes on the return line while the 9894DBJERL goes on the send line. So to summarize for future reference, youll need one of each instead of just two of the 9894DBHERL's.

Youll also want new o rings for those lines which are "Dorman 800-013 Viton O rings".
