Calling Engine Builders
Let me preface this with I'm not trying to be lazy, but I'm extremely busy don't have time to take all the info in and make my own
The motor I have to work with is the TPI 350. The car is going to be used as a cruiser, occasional local show, and it will see a road course. My goal is to maintain the TPI system and stock heads and get 325-350 HP at the wheels.
my budget for performance parts is about $1500, maybe $2000 after the motor rebuild. I plan on doing some porting on the heads and runners/intake myself unless I find somebody who can do it reasonably. I don't want a torque beast that chokes out at 4000 RPM.
So I'm looking for advice and guidance to make components match from the intake all the way down to the cam and some education. I'm more concerned with Harmony of parts than aimlessly installing aftermarket gear. General DIY mods are good as I do have the time for that as long as there is a solid thread on it.
Help me spend some $ gentleman.

Re: Calling Engine Builders
let me rephrase a bit. I wrote my last post right before bed and I was rambling.
what would I need to do to get 300+ HP at the wheels and maintain a strong powerband up to 5000 RPM? and I've got about $1500-$2000 to spend on goodies after the motor is rebuilt.
