Camaro RS - 350 - Timing Help...

Okay I have a 1991 Camaro RS with a 350 in it, not sure where the 350 came from but it's there... I been replacing stuff left and right the guy who owned it didn't have it timed when they replaced everything.

Just jumping to it. Everytime I try to set the time on this engine it runs like CR@P and I can't make it go... For one the 350 should roast tires off this car easily... I barely get a cherp...

I put #1 plug TDC on compression side, pulled the dizzy dropped it in 2 teeth before TDC to get closer to the 6-10* from what I read that was peak for performance ( either way I can turn the cap and make it ) or pull it and drop it in TDC. I don't have a timing light but when I get it running good with the computer unplugged, unhook the bat, let it reset, rehook timing and battery it runs like ....

Any tips on getting this done so this car is running like it should? I read if it's a hair off where it should be it won't run like it should and won't have the power it should.

bump... help please.. I can either get it to start easy or run good but not both... =(
91 Camaro RS 350 TBI starts easier TDC or right before but runs good around 10-30 BTDC. I'm losing my mind with this one.
