difference in 67-85 350s and 86-98 350s

Car: 1986 camaro Sports Coupe
Engine: L31 350
Transmission: 89 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.42 gov lock
difference in 67-85 350s and 86-98 350s
can anyone tell me a difference in them? im looking at a re ring kit for my block but im finding more of the 67-85 kits than one for my 96 block. whats the difference??

Intake bolt pattern, angle, & how many bolts, TPI, TBI, computer contnrolled carb or non computer controlled carb, same with distributor, factory roller cam, flat tappet cam
( hydraulic ).
Thats all I can think of. IDK piston, rings, bearings.

i think all the bearings and rings are okay, but im more worried about the gaskets, like the rear main seal, are the older blocks 1 peice seal or 2 peice? are all the gaskets the same?

Older blocks are 2 piece. Rings pistons etc the same.

86+ engines are one piece RMS.
There are no 85 z28 350s.
