EGR Blockoff/ Vacuum Lines
I have been searching this and numerous other sites trying to find a complete guide , preferably with some pictures on how to delete the EGR. I am not worried about emmisions or passing inspection so dont even bother making any of those comments. I already ordered a block off plate from JEGS. But Im confused about the vacuum lines running in and out of the EGR valve , also there is a wire coming out of the old EGR that looks like some type of sensor that plugs into something behind the distributor. Also the hook up to the selonoid. I also read somewhere you need to change the chip or reprogram it so you dont get a check engine light. How is this done? Any help would be appreciated. Im posting some pics so you guys can see what Im working with. Im really trying to clean up the bay and reroute or gid rid of unnecessary hoses and wires. I have also got rid of the smog pump and all the crap on the passenger side. It is not a daily driver and is being set up as more of a cruise night/show car so to speak.
Well here are the pics. thanks

Re: EGR Blockoff/ Vacuum Lines
Remove EGR solenoid and valve
remove sensor ; make all wires safe
You need a custom chip with the EGR deleted to replace your stock one in the computer
