Strange Issue....Help
Hello to all, I had something come up & see if anyone has any recommendations on what it could be.
To start I did put my scanner on the car & no DTC's (nothing in the memory either). I took the car for a drive today & right when I was getting to the friends house (30 miles) it started stuttering bad! I got to his house looked over several connections & all looked good. I started her up & she ran perfect. My buddy recommended I change the coil which I did.
On the way home & got all the way to my street block (30 miles) & then it did it again, car shut off twice. Then I started it back up & ran the 1/2 block to my house perfect. Reved her & sounded great. Took her around my neighborhood & perfect. WTF?????
Any advice? I'm guessing it's fuel related????

One way to verify that is to get it up to temperature (30 mile drive?) and test fuel pressure AND free flow. You should be able to move a pint of fuel in 15 seconds or less.

Is there a special tool for this? I also think it's fuel related. You are also correct it did it both times when the car had been running for a bit & at normal temperature. Thanks for the help!
