Another "is it woth the money" question here
It looks like I can source whole donor z28 ls1/t56. It's 99 with June production date. Been hit in an **** Drives. 130k miles. Whoe car less interrior. No pics yet thouhg. $2800 Goot?

Try and get it closer to 2k and it would definately be worth, Engine, trans, rear end, Front disc swap. Then you could still part the rest of the car out depending on the condition of it.

I wish $1000 was a reality. Unfortunately I couln't find anything less then this guys 98 and he wanted 35 initially. I didn't see any pull-outs for less then $1500 for engine alone in 400 miles radius for past month. And it's December... Prices going up?

I'd offer $2500 for it assuming it's a good donor and everything checks out. No more than that for me, though. We just yanked a LS1/T56 with 78K miles and got $3500 out of it, another $300 for the rear end, and scrapped most of the rest (interior was covered in blood from a fatal collision).

That's what I was thinking ($2500) it's more realistic #. I wouldn't use anything from a car after fatal collision. Call me superstisios. Well at least knowing the history I wouldn't.
