Is This Fuel Pressure Common on Start Up?
Okay guys. I have a hard time getting the IROC to start immediately. So I recorded the pressure at prime, and during start up. So is this a good pressure givin the situation?

I believe your fuel pressure is falling too fast after engine stop. I wonder if you have replaced your fuel pressure regulator diaphragm. A torn / leaky diaphragm can result in a pressure drop like that.
Maybe the 9th injector is leaking as well. Unless you replaced it at the same time as the other injectors.
Hope this helps.

Boulder CO! I used to live in Colo Sprgs, then in Greeley. I miss living there. My FPR diaphram is about 2 years old. Should still be good. All my other injectors are 1 year old Bosch 3's. I'm gonna pull out the 9th injector and prime the FP to see if there is any leakage. Is it possible to pull the 9th injector with the runners in place?

Yes, you can easily and quickly remove the 9th injector. Loosen the nut holding the line to the back of the fuel rail, then remove the bolt holding the injector. Now rotate the injector and line upwards, pivoting at the fuel rail, and it should clear the runners so you can test it.
Hope this helps.
And...yea, I like Colorado too. It doesn't better than 300 sunny days every year to enjoy my 3rd gen.

Any luck fixing your issue? I agree to change the fuel regulator diaphragm. These replacement ones dont seem to last like the original gm ones did and I had this exact same issue. Is your afpr adjustable?

Thats sucks man, sorry to hear that.Im sure you will get it fixed up in no time.its a common issue with the diaphragms leaking and causing hard starts and high rpm stuttering.good luck.
