Rocker arms

Whats up guys i have a freshly rebuilt 350 with 083 heads i belive the block and heards are out of an 89 camaro. i have read through the post of the difference between non self aligning rocker arms and self aligning rocker arms i fully understand the difference between them my problem is i do not know which one i require with the push rod installed there is minimal side to side movement i removed factory sa rockers arms when i had the heads and block at the machine shop the machinst said nsa rocker arms would be fine because they have the proper alignment holes from the factory. i had another machinst at my school tell me that they do not have the proper holes ive tried to find pictures of the two different heads and can not find any. here is the picture of the push rod hole. thanks billName: 2011-08-03_130305.jpg

Re: Rocker arms

with that head you only need regular rocker arms and non hardened pushrods.

Re: Rocker arms

ok so it should be fine with the factory push rods aslong as the geometry has not changed i am useing 1:6 Rockers and i think im gonna apply some prussian blue to the valve stems and rotate the motor over and make sure the the rocker arms are almost centered also with the rockers the pushrod does ride on the the head im gonna apply some blue to them also and see how bad its rubbing unless theres an easier way thanks
