Hydraulic flat tappet cam and LT4 springs

14101083 heads on an older block. Had stock springs, a generic cam and Hydraulic Flat tappet lifters.

Im going to put LT4 springs and screw in studs on the heads (I have a spare set) and I was wondering what camshaft could you recommend? I just want something mild and not too expensive (no roller conversion)

Thanks, guys

Re: Hydraulic flat tappet cam and LT4 springs

Comp cams 12-366-4 cam looks like what ill go with. 0.520 max lift with 1.6 rockers and ill probably just be reusing the stock 1.5 rocker arms and I read online the max for the LT4 springs is around 0.525 lift.

If anyone has any comments or suggestions go ahead and speak up, I wont be ordering the cam for a few weeks.
