Car struggles on acceleration
I have a 1986 Camaro Z28. It has a 305 V8. The car upon acceleration feels extremely heavy like its struggling after i let go of the accelerator you feel like if the car is dragged backwards. Like if it needs alot of power to get it actually moving. Im not exactly the best with cars but does anyone know what can help me with that problem. Like what things I can upgrade and stuff to really give it a nice smooth acceleration?

Re: Car struggles on acceleration
Is your clutch slipping? Other than that it maybe a timing issue.

Re: Car struggles on acceleration
Are your brakes perhaps sticking? I have an intermittent stuck right front brake that makes the car work to go anywhere.

Re: Car struggles on acceleration
Check the parking brake cables, the cable may have rusted and now the parkers won't release.
