I need help
Can anyone tell me anything about this hose, it is connected to the throttle body on a v6 Camaro, it has a marking on it:7/32 GM 6148M 070489 MX. Can anyone tell me what it does and/or where to find one?

Re: I need help
can you post up a pic? 7/32 probably the inside diameter size (7/32 inches) and it's probably a vacuum line - is it small (like pencil size)?

Yup, sounds like a vacuum hose.
You can find that at parts stores, sold by the foot.

Re: I need help
The first and third pics show where it connects to the throttle body, the second pic is where it ends, the fourth is the hose after being removed, I was wondering, where can I get the hard plastic hose that goes to the throttle body that is connected to the rubber hose? (the plastic part is what broke). Also, what would the absence of that hose cause the car to do?

Purge line for the canister. Doesn't have to be hard plastic. Unless you are looking to stay original, just use the line and connect it with a small piece of rubber hose, or just replace it with a hose.

No dumb questions. At a signal from the computor, the canister valve will open allowing fumes to be pulled from the canister and the tank. The hose you are asking about is a vacuum line to route the fumes to the intake to be burned.
