1995 Firebird lt1
Ok i have a 1995 firebird formula with the lt1 and it developed a miss fire so i started by replacing the spark plugs then the wires then the distributor i checked all the wires to make sure none were burt or on the wrong plug.... still a miss and kindof a low idle like 500 maybe 550 also as your going down the road about 50 mph or so cruising you can feel it slightly jerk back randomly. also when you put your foot into it it doesnt put out the power to make it down shift and just feels slugish i tried an new mass air flow sensor for like 5 minutes no change so i returned it and put the old one back on. it does not throw any codes and is the obd2 port with an obd1 computer (only on 1994 and 1995 gm's) i have read it can be an o2 sensor, fuel filter, injector, mass air flow sensor distributor, plugs, plug wires, tps (which is new) or even a leak in the air tube. i do have a spectra cone air filter on it only thing i have changed on it but ran fine when i first put it on. i cant figure out what is causing it did i get a bad distributor or is it possibly something else... any help is greatly appriciated i have been messing with this for 2 or 3 months now and its driving my crazy
