Belts.....

Belts.....
As follows is my learning curve on a serpentine belt setup for my car.
Using stock pulleys and only one belt if possible. I have an advantage in that I can fabricate the brackets myself.
First attempt: Tensioner wouldn't work very well in this configuration.
#2. Better deal
#3 Then I learned, since I didn't have an AC compressor, and my alt and PS brackets are adjustable, I wouldn't really need the tensioner. This would be convenient, but I'd be worried about the lack of belt wrap on the water pump.
#4 So here's what I think is the best bet. I have to find a suitable idler pulley. Any suggestions? 6-rib serpentine belt, about 4-6" dia, and mounts with one mount bolt.
Anyone have anything to add?
I'm not gonna use a v-belt setup, don't want the hassle, don't have the pulleys.
I'm not gonna use a two serpentine belt setup- again, I don't have the right pulleys.

Re: Belts.....
Here's the finished product:
I used Ebay alternator and power steering brackets. The gates belt is 88" long, but I think I'm gonna go with one that is an inch or two shorter, the adjustment on the alternator is almost maxed out. These brackets mount to the water pump. Our third gen water pumps don't have the appropriate mounting bosses. The unit I bought is made by Tuff Stuff and is available on summit. It is reverse rotation, and has the older style of housing w/mounting bosses. It also happens to be polished
I had to custom make an idler bracket, and extend the PS pump so it sits an inch farther forward. With all the bolts torqued, everything is solid, even with the seemingly long bolt spacers on everything.
Accessory mount holes on the head:
Custom CNC'd Aluminum Idler bracket:
