Water inside oil cap.
When I remove my oil cap there is water on the inside of the oil cap. But looking in the valve cover it looks normal. I drained my oil and it looked normal. Is this caused by condensation maybe? It's been dropping below freezing at night here.

yes it's normal for some condensation to gather there, nothing to worry about.

try to get the engine up to normal running temps to help get rid of the condensation, that is why short trips are not usally good

Well thats good to know jtsk thanks. And chads I always warm up my engine before driving. The motor just don't like to stay running when cold. I've never been much of a fan of driving a cold car. Maybe I'm just weird like that.
