Fuel like exhaust smell.
I just picked up an 85 camaro that has an 89 TPI 350 in her. Prior owner did numerous performance mods and added headers with a Jegs 3 inch full exhaust along with deleting the Cat. Where should I start looking as to the root of my problem? I know smelly exhaust is the nature of the beast with this kind of car but I want to get rid of the fuel smell to it. Any suggestions? I am not that savvy on mechanical issues, I am more of a paint and body guy.

Is the ecm giving any codes? SES light on? Possible O2 sensor, Sensor should be on the bottom of the header pass. side i think.
