Grrr...89 350 TPI is killing me
Ok here's what is and isn't happening...
New parts...
Fuel pump and relays - were bad - system cleaned and blown out
MAF - showing codes 34 & 33 - were cleared and are not returning
ECM - showed bad
TPS - because I wanted to be safe!
Changed out entire distributor due to rust and corrosion.
Changed Ignition coil due to rusty distributor.
Weak pulse at injectors maybe? - via NOID test (not sure how bright the light should be?)
ALL injectors are around 7.5 to 7.7 ohms - not sure what they "should" be? Tested with meter set in the 200 range......
Starts right away first thing in the morning then gets to about 100 temp and dies (around 5-10 mins). NOT throwing any codes. Rail pressure is 45, getting spark, power at injectors.
If you shoot starting fluid into it, it will run till its all gone then die....
Now what do I test or replace?????

When did this start, you may have a vacuum leak, could be bad plenum gaskets or a vacuum line problem.

When the car dies when warmed have you checked to make sure you still have fuel pressure? If it will run with starter fluid you need to recheck your fuel system. Also the resistance on the fuel injectors should be around 14-16 ohms.

More info....
As usual this morning she fired right up and ran smooth. Temp went up to around 220 and no fans came on. Would the lack of fan cause the system to shut off?
There has been some creative wiring done by the guy before me and there is a connector on the firewall right to the left (pass side) of the distributor that looks like there are melted wires. There are 3 coming into the connector and only 2 going out? The connector is all melted and will not come apart. It is also hard to tell the color of the wires.
Can anyone tell me what this connector goes to and what color the wires "should" be?

At the very least once they start reading less than 10-11 ohm the coils are starting to go bad and that is something that cannot be repaired or replaced on an injector. Get yourself a set of bosch lll's,, you will be very happy.

Getting ready to order new injectors. This car has had some electrical problems with the cooling fans. The guy had wired a switched wire to the fans, so you hit the switch the fans come on. The switch was buried under the stereo so i had no idea it was there. I have removed this wire. BOTH fans come on when I plug in the tester looking for codes so this is kind of throwing me for a loop. Whether this is related to the burned connector I just don't know. I'm starting to trace out the wires for the fans and find why the were hot wired with a switch. All the wires at the fans are in good shape....

Ok, ordered new injectors (BIG THANKS to Southbay08) and pulled the old ones on the car. HOLLY CRAP Batman they look ugly as sin. The ends that go into the rails are all nasty brown and rusty as all heck....
