Like said, check the relay - it's under the hood on the blower box. Might also look at the resistor, it's on the box as well - little polygon looking piece that is held in with two 7mm screws.
Otherwise, might be the switch itself, but the first two are easier to check/replace. If you go into the panel to look at the switch, be careful not to pull any of the vacuum lines off the assembly - there's a slew of them back there to adjust vent doors and such, and the General didn't give us much (if any) slack to pull out the assembly.
