Need help finding correct egr valve.
I purchased an egr valve and got the wrong one today. I went back and they said it would have to be ordered from the factory. I went to advance auto zone and carquest and they want $95.
My egr is for an 1988 lb9 5.0l manual trans. and has a temp sensor in it with a narrow longer base.
The one with a temp sensor comes up at the parts store for automatic only.
the one they gave me had a wider base and I assume that one was for a tbi.
there is another one like mine but it doesnt say what it fits and it is $64.
does anyone know where to get one at a decent price?
is there a difference between auto and manual egr?
The reason I am replacing it is because the pintle gets cocked sideways when closing and I already tryed cleaning it and reinstalling it but its acting up again and I didnt get the PN from it.

Re: Need help finding correct egr valve.
ok i took it out and the part number is 17087262 which crosses over to airtex 4f1115 which is $85.
Now my question is that airtex egr says it fits alot of part numbers. when I look up those part numbers I come up with ac delco 2145538 which is 35 dollars for automatic and looks the same as mine. I dont think there is a difference between the two or am I wrong?
