Re: tv cable bracket

I used this one:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-8030/

Had to drill a hole in it to get the TV cable a little closer to the carb, but it's a nice hefty strong bracket that doesn't flex any with the pressure of the TV cable tightening. BUT - it's manifold mounted, not carb mounted.

And be sure to get the TV cable geometry corrector that attaches to the carb linkage:

Summit makes their own brand, just forgot how to correctly search their site to find it.

Looks just like the crap one I first bought; TV cable mount bent out of shape first time I used it.
Custom made my own stronger adjustable one , back braced off a intake bolt so it don't go anywhere using the accelerator mount from the original bracket because that does not have so much load on it as the TV cable

TV cable mount has to be correct distance from pivot on linkage so as to operate correctly. This distance is not variable if you want TV to operate as it should

Re: tv cable bracket

def. would like to see a picture...BUMP on that! And do you have to have an edelbrock manifold for that EDL-8030 to work or will it work on a GM style intake???
