aftermarket gas tank question
I just bought an aftermarket gas tank for my 91 GTA, but it did not included a filler neck, only a hole for one. Has anybody else bought an aftermarket tank with no filler neck? Where do I find a filler neck?
EDIT: my mechanic informed me it is the wrong tank, so I will be taking it back and buying a used tank I found for $45 somewhat locally.

Re: aftermarket gas tank question
I bought mine from gastanks.com it comes with the filter neck installed. But, I asked for it uninstalled, installed cost more to ship and may get damaged.
Once you receive it have someone solder the neck on.
I wouldn't trust the supplier to install the neck properly aligned at least not on this model. The filler neck has to fit into an opening in the baffle inside the tank to keep it as close as possible to the bottom of the tank.Mock the tank and filler neck so that it's centered behind the fuel door, put an align mark where the neck and tank opening meet then have it soldered.
