350 bored to 4.020. cast dish pistons. new springs, seats and roller rockers from tpis to handle bigger cam.
cam; comp extreme energy
ad duration 276/282
duration at .50 224/230
lift 502/510 110 lsa
shorty headers with full cat back exhaust system.
with prom reprogram
Will this set up atleast make a strong 300 hp? this is going to be a street and strip car. mainly weekend worrior on the street.

So is 300 hp a good estimate or should I expect more?

300 compared to what? The stock HP rating?
Why dished pistons?
Seems like a lot of cam for TPI.

Re: would this build get atleast 300hp?
yea compared to a stock engine. and dish pistons is just what I have would you recomend something else? and as far as the cam, is there a better cam you have in mind that would get me past the 300hp mark? Pretty much my goal is to get 300hp or more with the tpi and the 083 heads if that is possible. so any suggestions are appreciated and if there is anything you would change tell me your ideas.

Possibly 300hp at the flywheel, definitely not the rear wheels.

it says they are.067 in deep 3.160 in diameter(the dish). would it make a good bit of difference if i do flat tops and port out the tpi? and get bigger runners?

Sounds like the semi-dished like stock pistons. Do you have the dish cc #'s? If 12cc or less, they should be fine.
You can port the plenum, and there is some benefit to porting the base. But, the runners need to be replaced. And, it's better to go with an aftermarket base as well.
For less money, you can get a Holley/Weiand Stealth Ram that will support a bunch more power.

If your "dished" pistons also have valve reliefs, they'll be fine.
5cc sound right for flat tops with 4 valve reliefs. Need to watch your compression ratio, though.
Hypereutectic are stronger than cast, but not as good if you plan on using power adders. As long as you aren't going to spray or supercharge it, hypers are a good choice.

ok one last thing and i'll shut up ) if i keep the tpi and port it and get the better runners, should i still go with the same cam or would it be wise to get something with less duration or lift?
