mini starter question
Anyone ever buy a mini starter for a 153 or 168 tooth flywheel. I bought one for my lb9 305 5 speed and realized i have to knoch the dust shield and oil pan gasket. Also the new one has 9 teeth and old one has ten, i dont know what flywheel is in an lb9 is it one of the above?
Just wanted to know if anyone else encountered these problems before, and if it ended up working?
Right know i have it torn apart doin a cam swap, headers, oil pump, a/c delete, smog delete, port and polish tpi so i cant start it and the 30 day return is coming up.

Re: mini starter question
do you know if it had a different tooth count on the starter pinion, or what tooth flywheel you have. Did you have to check backlash or install a shim?
