new guy with question....

i recently purchased a 1985 Z28. the car only has 100k mi, and has been stored for the last 5 years. although it starts and runs just fine, i decided to tune it up, check and change fluids, and install new belts and hoses, because of the age of the car.

i have done pretty much all of this, but encountered a problem last night that i feel really STUPID about having to ask this question.

i removed all of the belts, and came to the power steering belt last. i loosened all of the bolts that appear to affect the power steering pump, but i CAN NOT get the pump to move at all........what am i missing here? has anyone messed with their ps pump recently? i can't figure out how to get the belt off, so i can put the new one on.

ps.....this looks like a great site, i checked out a couple other camaro forums and wasn't impressed at all. i have found my new CAMARO HOME!!!

thanks for any help that anyone can offer. rick
