Questions about rockers ::help::
Im putting my firebird back on the road soon but i want to do a few minor mods to it while i have it apart.. All i have is a 305 (i know) outfitted with an aluminum intake , edelbrock carb , hedman shortys/y-pipe , with a flow master exhaust which i also plan to change. Im not looking to get a fast car just a decent performer untill i can save more for a built 350 or 383 stoker one day.
Now i dont know much about cam lift , rocker arm specs and whatnot although i do have basic knowledge of my car being ive done all the work (minus body.)
I know the 305 is kind of stupid to put money into but i try when possible to buy things i can put on another small block in the future.
But im interested in these rocker arms ::

I just figured from what ive heard from other guys who have put 1.6 ratios in basic 305s that this wouldnt be too bad of an investment..
Would these bolt right onto my 305s stock heads? Can my valve springs take and added lift?? Any opinions/suggestions on what to/not to do??
All input is appreciated...

o.k. , just my own thought . if i were you i would consider the roller tip . i have used comp cams 1416-16 with good results . no seat of the pants increase , but better overall engine operation . also better m.p.g. . just my thoughts . good luck .
