crank & cam id help needed

crank & cam id help needed
recently came accross a cam and crank for a good price of free that i am told is to build a stroker 400. is there a way to identify what crank and cam i have so i know how to go about planning my build up?? can a reputable machine shop do this?? the guy i got it from has no specs but i couldn't argue with the price. any help would be appreciated, thx

Use a micrometer and measure the journals, both the mains and rods. Then measure from outside the main to outside of one of the rod journal. Take that measurement and suctract it by 1/2 of the main and rod journal size and that should give you your stroke. What does the parting line look like? Is it smooth or kinda rigid? Pictures would really help.
