What's Your Best Guess
ECM/or chip - Ing. Coil - Pick Up Coil in the Dist.
If you had to make a guess a on one of these over the others going dead after getting to normal running temp. and restarting cold no problem which would it be.

I'm also going to guess at what you're trying to ask.......I would say pick-up coil in the distributor.

Test it hot and cold . When mine died it ran perfectly for 10 minutes then you had to wait for it to cool down . I changed the module first because it was rolling the dice ,module or pickup coil . Then when it still did it I tested the pickup coil - good cold ,bad hot . So now I've got a spare module .

Re: What's Your Best Guess
Years ago I had a problem very similar on my car. It would start cold, run fine until about 15 mins later and stop. Once cool again it would start...
Ended up it was a bad chip...

Re: What's Your Best Guess
I did the same thing. I changed my coil w/ no result, then my ECM w/ no result... Then I put another chip in and it was fine.
What setup is your car? 305/350? TPI? MAF car? AT? You can probably find someone w/ a chip for you to try...
