L98 tear down questions...(air tube, sensor...etc)
Wow, the more I get into this, the more threads I seem to make. Haha. I apologize for all the questions.
This bad boy is keeping me from getting the valve cover off. It appears to go down, and shoot to the right somewhere. Is there a way to move/remove it?
What the heck is this? It appears to go in the back of the lower intake manifold. There is not a place for this on the Stealth Ram lower intake. Do I need it?
It also appears that there are all hard lines coming from my condenser? Do I have to take them off (and lose my AC refrigerant) in order to get the passenger side head off?
Also, do I need to remove the "radiator" type part (guess it's for the AC) behind my radiator to get the cam out?
Thanks!

Re: L98 tear down questions...(air tube, sensor...etc)
that first tube looks like a smog pump tube i removed all that stuff on mine but you might not want to if you have to do the emmisions stuff.umm that is your oil pressure gage sending unit it goes into the block you want to keep it too lol it dosent go to the intake so your ok there and yea id say you will have to take out the air conditioning condenser to get your cam out and probly have to remove thoes hard lines too to get the heads off
